Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Folowz ("the platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users — patients, doctors, and clinic staff.

2. The service

Folowz is a medical network platform that allows patients to find verified doctors, join their queues remotely, and receive arrival notifications. It also provides doctors with profile management, queue management, and clinical tools through Clinic OS.

Folowz is not a medical provider. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The relationship is solely between the patient and their doctor.

3. Patient terms

• You must provide accurate name and phone number when joining a queue
• One active queue booking per doctor per day is permitted
• Joining a queue is not a guarantee of consultation — the doctor may be unable to see you
• You agree to receive SMS/WhatsApp notifications for your appointment
• Repeatedly no-showing without cancelling may result in restrictions on future bookings

4. Doctor and clinic terms

• You must be a licensed physician registered with the relevant medical licensing authority in your country
• All information submitted during registration must be accurate and up to date
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your consultation fee, operating hours, and profile information
• You may not list yourself under a specialty you are not licensed to practice
• Folowz reserves the right to suspend or remove profiles that violate these terms or contain misleading information
• All features are free for all accounts during the launch period (until 1 January 2027). Accounts registered before that date receive founding-doctor pricing (1×) for life.

5. Pricing and billing (doctors)

• Free profile: Always free. A 5% commission applies to new patients who discover and book you through the Folowz network directory. No commission on patients from your own profile link or existing patient base.
• Clinic Pro: Billed monthly at 2× your published consultation fee in your local currency. Your subscription automatically adjusts when you update your consultation fee. Accounts registered before 1 January 2027 ("Founding accounts") are billed at 1× the published consultation fee for the lifetime of the account. Service-category clinics (e.g. dental, cosmetic) are subject to a separate fee schedule published before billing begins.
• Free launch period: All Clinic Pro features are free for all accounts until 1 January 2027. No credit card required.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Verification

Doctor profiles are reviewed by Folowz staff within 24 business hours of submission. Folowz reserves the right to reject, suspend, or revoke verification at any time if submitted documents are found to be inaccurate, expired, or fraudulent. Accounts found to have submitted false credentials will be permanently banned and may be reported to the relevant medical licensing authority.

7. Prohibited use

• Using the platform to impersonate a licensed physician
• Scraping, reverse engineering, or reproducing any part of the platform
• Using automated tools to create fake queue entries or appointments
• Sharing login credentials with unauthorised parties
• Using the platform for any unlawful purpose under applicable law

8. Limitation of liability

Folowz provides the platform "as is." We are not liable for any medical outcomes, missed appointments, queue estimation errors, or service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Folowz in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and branding on the Folowz platform is owned by Folowz and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, with or without notice. Doctors may close their account at any time by contacting contact@folowz.com.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by internationally recognised principles of commercial law. Where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide stronger protections, those protections apply. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to binding arbitration under internationally recognised rules, with proceedings conducted in English.
